A one-day conference on the master plan for the reconstruction of the Beirut Central Business District and its implementation by a private real estate company held at the Town and Country Planning Association. The aim of the conference was to have an open and structured discussion with the participation of experts who have been studying the various aspects of the plan. It addressed the legal and financial aspects of the plan; urban and architectural aspects; economic aspects; and political and social aspects. The conference was attended by planners, urban designers, economists, lawyers, sociologists, geographers and business people.
